Boogie Nights: The Imitations

Even though BOOGIE NIGHTS had a fairly unsuccessful run at the box office in the Fall of 97 its impact was felt almost immediately in the film community. In the few years after its release a slew of copycat films came out and almost all were very poor, and some incredibly bad, pale imitations of the original. With the obvious exception of RESERVOIR DOGS and PULP FICTION Anderson's BOOGIE NIGHTS joined TRAINSPOTTING and OUT OF SIGHT as the most copied but never matched film of the 1990's.
Here are a few images of the most notorious copycats.
