Paul Thomas Anderson's screenplay to BOOGIE NIGHTS is an invaluable resource for fans of the film or students of scriptwriting in general. This, unfortunately out of print, book features some of the sharpest dialogue and well designed scenes in any American screenplay from the past twenty years. It also includes several scenes that were cut from the finished film, a generous selection of black and white photographs, and a nice introduction by Anderson. Used copies regularly pop up on Ebay and Amazon and I highly recommend it.
Also of note is the issue of Britain's great Sight and Sound that featured the film on its cover. This was one of the sharpest and most intelligent pieces written on the film upon its initial release and it is well worth searching out also.
