Happy Birthday to Dennis Hopper

From Rebel Without A Cause to Easy Rider to The Last Movie to Out of The Blue to Blue Velvet to Land of the Dead, it's been one hell of a ride for Dennis Hopper and his fans and I'm glad it's not over yet. To celebrate his birthday I wish some enterprising company would release finally The Last Movie on DVD with all those rumored extra hours of footage on there for good measure.
Let us all raise a glass to a man who has seriously had one of the longest and most remarkable careers in Hollywood history.

What an amazing man on and off the screen. He never fails to please me with his work. Even if he's in a crappy movie, he's still good in it. Been seeing him in all those commercials lately. Happy Birthday!

Hopper had announced at the recent screening of THE LAST MOVIE at LA's Cinefamily at the Silent Movie Theater that a DVD is in the works for sometime next year. Don't know about the extra footage.

Hopper blows me away. I was so thrilled to get to work with him this year - he starred in a comedy short I wrote to open the Independent Spirit Awards. He did take after take with so much energy, willingness and good humor... pretty incredible stuff for a senior citizen! Here's a link, enjoy: http://buzzsugar.com/1067723
