Quantum of Solace 1st Official Trailer

Here's the first official trailer for QUANTUM OF SOLACE, the new James Bond film due out this fall. I thought CASINO ROYALE was the best Bond since THE SPY WHO LOVED ME so I am particularly excited about this one.

Yeah, it looks pretty badass. I loved CASINO ROYALE and this looks like more of the same. Maybe cooler with that shot of Daniel Craig coming over the hill with an assault rifle?! Wow...

Thanks Keith and J.D.
I have very high hopes for this film...here's hoping they continue the excellent start they got on C.R.

Absolutely love CR and look forward to the new one, though I'm going to resist peeking at the trailer. I was enormously impressed with Craig's work on the excellent TV series Our Friends In The North and am not surprised to see him enjoying such success. Long may it continue!

Thanks Steve,
I like Daniel a lot as well...haven't seen that series you mentioned. I will have to try and track it down...I really liked him in LAYER CAKE, which I seem to remember you not caring much for but I may be mistaken. Either way, I think he's a fabulous actor and I can't wait to see him as Bond again.

Pretty good trailer. I've seen a lot of Bond but have never been crazy about them. I liked GOLDENEYE and a couple of the Connery ones, but thats about it. I really liked CASINO ROYALE though, so maybe Craig and Co. are turning it into something that is a little more interesting.

'Casino Royale' definitely rebooted the franchise - I loved the way they set it up as, essentially, the first Bond movie, opening with him earning his Double-O rating.

I like the way 'Quantum of Solace' looks set to follow on from 'Casino Royale', developing Bond as a more vengeful character. I just hope Marc Forster doesn't prove the wrong choice of director.

Thanks James,
I'm a big Bond fan but realize it's not everyones cup of tea...I do hope this one turns out as well as Casino...thanks for the continuing comments.

Thanks Neil,
Yea I am intrigued by Forster as director here as well...I have liked some of his part work and this will be a change for him. I hope he pulls it off.
