Jack White's "Another Way To Die" Link

I received a link last night that offers a free listen to the theme Quantum of Solace film via The White Stripes email newsletter and wanted to share it here. I won't really be able to have a true opinion of the song as a 'James Bond Theme' until I see it over the opening credits, but my initial reactions are pretty positive. It sounds exactly like what you would think a James Bond song done by Jack White would sound. Give it a listen here and lets get this monster in theaters.

Heard the song earlier today. Very promising, though I too will have abtter idea come the opening credits. Due to my recent change of day off work,we'll be able to see this film opening day and look forward to what we hope will be another good performance from Craig.

Thanks Steve,
I'm curious to see how this will play out over the opening title sequence...and of course can't wait to see the film.

Jack's voice compliments Alicia Keys' quite well. Let's hope they do a video! Directed by Michel Gondry would be nice.

I'm digging it, and I agree that their voices suit each other nicely. It certainly has a groovy Bond quality while remaining fresh, which is what these songs should ideally be doing.

I'm looking forward to seeing if this movie will return to the traditional naked silhouette motif we all know and love. The word I heard at the time of Casino Royale was that was left out because of the more serious love story than other ones and it would be re-introduced. With this one still focusing on that story, even from a revenge angle, will this be the one or not?

Yea, I hope they do put together a great video...

Hey Neil,
Great to hear from you here. I am really hoping that Solace has one of those classic killer opening sequences...thanks for the comments!

I like what I'm hearing. I will be able to opine more on it when I hear it in the opening credits of the film. That's when you know whether the song is right or not. I do think it sounds really cool. I love Jack and Alicia. I do hope they make a video for it. I can't wait for this film.
