Very Rare John Cale Clips on YouTube

I recently came across these two incredible clips of John Cale on Chris Spedding on YouTube and had to share them here. They are performing two of the best songs off the mighty Fear album (the title track and Buffalo Ballet) on European television and the clips frankly blew my mind, as video footage of Cale in this period is rare to say the least...enjoy.

Thanks for this. Maybe you have written about it before but the UK reissue of Cale's "Paris 1919" with the extra tracks and outtakes is fantastic. The drone version of Hanky Panky Nohow is better than the original.

Thanks Papa Jon,
Yea isn't that version of Hanky Panky Nohow incredible? The PARIS 1919 reissue is one of my favorites of the decade...great sound, terrific liner notes and the bonus cuts are really special. Have you heard the Nico two disc set CLOSE TO THE FROZEN BORDERLINE that came out around the same time...it contains THE MARBLE INDEX and DESERTSHORE in their entirety and the bonus tracks included are incredible...plus the liner notes are really special as well.
