Machete: The Illegal Trailer

I had a real blast today at Facebook watching so many of my (extremely cool) friends reposting this incredible first trailer for the upcoming (and soon to be legendary) Machete. This "Illegal" preview first appeared thanks to the folks at Ain't It Cool and it spread throughout the day, and I got a kick out of watching it pop up again and again on different pages.

This trailer for Robert Rodiguez's long-awaited feature length version of his Grindhouse contribution is an adrenaline charged treat, and if the film turns out even half this good then it will be among the best of the year. Highlights for me include the shots of Lindsay Lohan (who also got the plum part of Linda Lovelace in Inferno today as well) as a gun wielding nun on the edge and the "Introducing Don Johnson" tag that made me want to stand up and cheer. The whole thing is just incredible so, in case you haven't seen it yet, here it is...ENJOY!...(and there it goes, sorry guys but the powers that be have already removed this from YouTube.)

A Linda Lovelace bio-pic with Lohan? Sign me up. I heard a mild rumor that Tarantino was giving her career advice. This would appear to be proof.

Yeah, this film looks like it will be a lot of fun and may actually follow-up on the promise of the awesome trailers. Can't wait!

Also, loved the shot of Danny Trejo getting into it with Steven Seagal!
