Cult Film Wallpapers Link
I have decided to phase out my Photobucket account so I have opened up a side blog that I am going to use exclusively to host the screenshot wallpapers I make here and at my other blogs. I enjoy making them and want them to be easily accessible for readers who are interested. Nothing will change here...each week a new wallpaper thumbnail will continue to appear to the right, only when you will clink on it you will no longer be taken to Photobucket but instead to this spot, which I have called Cult Film Wallpapers. I am currently putting all my old ones on there and should have it completed and ready for just new creations by the end of the weekend. By the way, this week's shot I captured of Catherine Jourdine in Alain-Robbe Grillet's Eden and After is perhaps my favorite one I have done, and I hope it proves a fitting kick-off to the special month I have planned for February.

A Natalie Wood Birthday Celebration

One of my favorite actors would have turned seventy years old today and I wanted to offer up a small, but sincere, celebration for her. I was hoping to create wallpapers from the likes of Sex and The Single Girl, Love With The Proper Stranger, Inside Daisy Clover and Penelope but unfortunately these films (along with many other Natalie Wood classics) are still missing in action on DVD. The rumored box-set marking Natalie's seventieth is still in the works apparently and should hopefully hit stores by late this year. I hope the set serves as an introduction to the remarkable and special talent this woman possessed for an entire new generation.
Here are a few wallpapers I have made to celebrate Natalie's birthday. I hope they prove an enjoyable tribute to one of American Cinema's most enduring icons.

Warm Birthday Wishes For Sybil Danning
Happy Birthday to Austrian actress Sybil Danning, who made one of the most surprising and welcome returns to our theaters in the past year. To celebrate Sybil's birthday here are four wallpapers, featuring shots from two of my favorite Sybil Danning films, for your desktop that I made. I'm not a web designer so these are pretty primitive, but hopefully they might look okay as your background. Here's to many more upcoming roles from the iconic Danning.
