One of my favorites--a true classic and totally deserving of a collector's edition DVD with all sorts of extras--hopefully including the BBC doc'.

The ending always makes me tear up.

In order of priority among all the MIAs we've been listing, this one goes right to the top alongside The African Queen It's Oliver Reed's finest hour in my opinion, and probably Russell's as well.

I just watched this again over the weekend! It's amazing.

I am so disappointed. I was going to watch this again, after only having watched it once before, in order to write about it for your series. And they removed it off of YouTube!!!

Glad you addressed it, though. I agree with Samuel, that alongside THE AFRICAN QUEEN, this is sorely missing from DVD.

I'm going to add my voice to the chorus of those who are sorely missing a DVD of this absolutely astounding, amazing film. I've been crushed several times when rumors of this film's release to DVD have failed to materialize. "The Devils" is such a powerful film and I'm glad to see your tribute here!

This is a film I've always wanted to see, but never had the chance.
