Jeremy, Tarantino still doesn't get enough credit for this one, maybe because it looks increasingly like a road not taken by him. But for me it was the proof that the hype that followed Pulp Fiction was justified, and it's a major reason the director gets the benefit of the doubt from me so often. Those pictures bring back good memories.

Yeah, this film is still my fave's of QT's and I think that people were expecting another PULP FICTION and were disappointed when this film didn't deliver the carbon copy thrills. I think it's the best thing he's ever done and I think it's failure stung QT. In recent interviews, he has kinda put the film down a little bit saying that he wasn't totally into it and won't do another literary adaptation. Weird.
Peter Fonda and Susan George in "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry" on the TV screen there. That's the kind of little detail that QT loves.
I'm glad I'm not alone in thinking this is QT's best film.

It is frustrating. I think this is his best movie. It's my favorite, anyways.
I love this film. It's my favorite of QT's films as well. It definitely doesn't get the attention and credit it deserves. It's so sad though. There were so many great performances in this movie. Plus you gotta dig the music.
