Great post! I love this documentary. It's such a treat, and a privilege, to see all of these people at work: Kieslowski, Jacob, and Idziak primarily, but after years of seeing the name of KK's editor in the credits of his films, it was a pleasure to see him as well.
Great choice of stills. This film is a work of genius. Three Colours:Red is still my all-time favourite, but Veronique runs it a close second. Jacob really did come alive for Kieslowski.
Wonderful photo collection, thank you for posting...I just can't get enough of Irene.I am adding you to my blogroll
Excellent! I love this film. It's definitely my favorite movie.
Thanks everyone for the very nice comments. The Criterion collection of this film is splendid and I highly recommend it for any that might not already have a copy.
Oh, and I have added your link as well Bunched...thanks so much.
Hey there. Great post. I hope you've been having a wonderful weekend. Take care. Cheers!
Hey Keith, Thanks and I hope you had a great weekend as well.
Good screenshots of this extra found on 'The Double Life Of Veronique' DVD set, Jeremy.Feel free to browse around my website, Kieslowski's World, and also add yourself and your website details to the Guestbook. Also, if you like, you could mention your other site, Nostalgia Kinky, which is a favourite of mine from two or three years back.If you have any comments and/or questions on Kieslowski's films, please post them to my Forum under a suitable heading. I am hoping, in time, that the Forum will be as popular as Petey's used to be, a decade ago.At the moment, I have fireworks popping and banging outside my window which are affecting my concentration somewhat. Yes, it's Guy Fawkes Night again here in the UK! It's stays noisy well until the early hours... Do you have such a thing your way? I bid you a very good evening.
