The problem with Jane Fonda's career is that she just didn't get roles of the same quality after Klute. Partly because Hollywood seemed to be concentrating more on Guy Films, and Jane Fonda wasn't really the sort of actress you'd cast as the hero cop's girlfriend.

I love that movie so much. Saw it for the first time years ago and loved it, and saw it again recently and still loved it just as much.
Very close to being her finest moment as an actress, although her performance in They Shoot Horses, Don't They? is hard to beat.
Fonda absolutely blew me away in this. It's a shame that her acting often gets overlooked these days.
