God, I fell in love with Caroline Bouquet in this one! I had no idea who she was and wondered how the *hell* such a cheap (ahem) movie starred such a beauty - of course Richard Hell looked fantastic then too so it was a perfect match. A year or two after I saw this she turned up on an episode of 'Sex & the City' and I was happily surprised; that was when I looked her up and found out she'd been a Bond girl and a Chanel model. Woah.
Yea, she's something isn't she Will? I love her in For Your Eyes Only as well as the Bunuel film.
Ah...the beautiful Carole Bouquet, surely one of the main reasons why FOR YOUR EYES ONLY remains one of my favorite Bonds. Haven't seen this film since sometime in the late '90s when it was re-released on video and I was in full-blown Richard Hell fanboy mode. Might just have to revisit it now...
Thanks Ned,
I know Richard hates this film but I find it quite haunting. Flawed for sure but it sticks with you.
