David Bowie's ambitious multimedia High Line Festival started this week in New York and it looks like a highlight is the film festival he is putting on. Bowie, a life long film buff, has chosen 10 of his all time favorite Spanish films and is presenting them at the festival starting tonight. Including works by Bunuel and Fuentes among others, this is an incredibly diverse and impressive set of films Bowie has picked out. Two major works, and personal favorites, are the amazing SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE and Julio Medem's lovely and heartfelt LOVERS ON THE ARCTIC CIRCLE.
