Great shots. I love this film. It was a wonderful reboot for the franchise. I'm just hoping Quantum of Solace will be good. I've heard a lot of mixed reaction to it, such as it's moving too much into Bourne territory.
Thanks Keith, I'm really excited about Quantum although I am expecting it will be a bit of a transitional film. I don't expect it will be as stunning as Casino Royale but if it's a solid Bond flick then I will be more than pleased...
Nicely done. I really enjoyed the shift this film represented for the Bond franchise. At this point, the films badly needed that new perspective. And your screenshots remind me that, in addition to being a very fun, tense thriller, it's a visually interesting film as well.
Thanks Ed, It really is a visually fascinating film. The fact that it totally revitalized such a historic series (and that it is indeed one of the great Bond films) made it seem more than a appropriate for this series.
I really enjoyed this film as well and thought that Daniel Craig was a fantastic Bond. He definitely returns to the more lethal, tougher Bond of the Sean Connery era. I also liked the grittier edge and how they made the mission more personal for Bond.
Thanks JD, I totally agree on your thoughts...Craig is just incredible.
no secret that martin cambell deserves a lot of credit for rebooting the series - twice. goldeneye was a hoot, and casino royal was a great ride.Phil Meheux is a superb lens man - id love it of you could grab a screenshot of that woman climbing into the boat ? such lovely colors, with her skin tone and the ocean, the sun setting ... maybe you know the one i mean.cheers, dany
Nice shots. Hope you all enjoy Quantum. Craig really makes for a terrific Bond, and his latest outing places me in the thumbs-up camp. A few reservations, but still can't get over the critical mauling it received. Btw, Casino Royale has been given a 3 disc special edition over here.
