Very nice. Kurt Russell is THE man! I never get tired of watching this film and the more times I do watch it I start paying attention to the little nuances, like how characters in the background react to what's going on in the foreground.

One of my favorite actors in one of my favorite films! Russell, in my estimation, is highly underrated. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks JD,
No way I could leave Kurt out of this series and THE THING is my favorite of his works (which is saying a lot).

Thanks leOpard,
He's incredibly undervalued isn't he? What an incredible career he has had and he seems like a really great person as well. I love him!

I'm right there with all of you. It's incredibly difficult to point out the best from Russell because he has that many that are THAT good.

Miracle, The Thing, Escape From NY, Breakdown, Tombstone, Dark Blue, Big Trouble In Little China< Silkwood, Soldier, Death Proof, Stargate, Backdraft and the list just goes on.

Is he not the kind of guy you want to hang with and have a beer? Love him. He's just got IT! Thanks for sharing the images.

Thanks Sci-Fi,
Those are all great roles...there are so many. Funny you mentioned about having a beer with him as that's how my buddy Dave and I used to describe what we thought hanging with him would be like.

I'd say, you could put his whole filmography on the list. Hell, 3000 Miles to Graceland is a mess, but it's all good IMO because Russell is channeling Elvis once again ;-). Glad to see we are share the same opinion of the man. Thanks, Jeremy.

Don't forget THE MEAN SEASON, an underrated investigative journo film that features some good, solid work from Russell.

I should leave a comment on Kurt Russell as MacReady, but I became distracted by Melissa Sue Anderson from one of my favorite, though admittedly corny, horror movies. Great choice there :)
