I love this film. Haven't seen it in years though. Great to see you're bringing your Harry blog back.

YES!!!
You have included, I see, a shot from the conclusion of my favorite scene from the film -- which happens to have my favorite line from ANY movie -- where Jack Warden sees Julie Christie getting nailed through the window and says to Warren Beatty, "Now that's what I call FUCKIN'!"

Good man -- I'm over to HARRY MOSEBY like a hungry suckling!

Haven't watched in several years, since Film Forum did a Hal Ashby retrospective. The ending, with its use of "Wouldn't It Be Nice," gets me every time. Look forward to the return of Harry Moseby!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I love this film and have always felt very close to it. I wish Criterion would pick it up and give it a proper DVD release.

This is a wonderful assemblage of frames from this, one of my very favorite movies. As much as it's thought of as a comedy or just Warren Beatty on the make, these shots underline what's really going on with each of these people during the film. Makes me want to go watch it again right now.
