Argento's Mother of Tears DVD Reminder

Just a reminder that today marks the Region 1 release of Dario Argento's Mother of Tears here in the States. The disc, which includes an uncut print of the film as well as a featurette, can be found for as little as $14.99 at some of the main retailers, including Best Buy. I will have my report on it later this week for those interested.

I have a copy this but just haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I'm curious to read your thoughts on it. I hope to post my soon as well.

Hey,
I just picked it up and am going to watch it tonight...am very disappointed though that Dimension didn't see fit to include the Italian track as an audio option...

I'll be sure to check out your review after I finish work tomorrow evening and also look forward to reading JD's thoughts. Only seen it the once via rental, and my initial feelings are positive.

it's on its way to me too. i have no expectations for this flick other than, whether i like it or not, i expect to be totally unprepared for it. i've read both positive and negative remarks about this film, and i think the real test will be in how it's regarded years from now. so many of the films i love now were maligned at the time of their initial release, both by critics and by the public. currently, it seems like reappraisal is a growing fad in its own right.

Thanks for the reminder Jeremy! I'm looking forward to seeing it but my expectations are low. I hope you'll write more about the film soon since I'd like to read your thoughts on it.

Thanks for the comments everyone..I just posted my look at the film. I wish I would have liked it but my feelings are pretty negative. Perhaps I will admire it more on a second viewing.

Also, great to hear from you here Kimberly. I've missed your comments and was glad to see this one here.
