One of my favorite director's most groundbreaking films is finally set to get a decent home video release, courtesy of the excellent Cult Epics, this Tuesday. Radley Metzger's glorious and trailblazing canon has been represented on Region 1 DVD in the past with mostly washed out, and sometimes cut, prints so Cult Epics restored print of his Score is a real welcome release. Cult Epics is releasing a couple of different versions of the film, and some really wonderful extras are included such as a commentary with Metzger, and I hope that this is just the first in a line of Metzger releases they will be putting out.
