I was very saddened to hear a few days ago that we lost the lovely and talented Franca Mai, one of the star's of Jean Rollin's Fascination, at the tragically young age of just 53 years old after battling cancer for the last few years. Mai was one of the most bewitching and mysterious actresses Rollin ever filmed and her performance in Fascination, opposite Brigitte Lahaie, remains one of the most haunting in all of Rollin's canon. My sincere condolences to her family and friends...she was really special and I hated to hear this news.
